Ask Me Anything is an opportunity for you to get my eyes and ears on your situation! Tell me what you're struggling with in regards to mindfulness, meditation, and values-based living. It can be in response to my course materials or any of the content I share online related to Together Mindful. I'll send you a personalized recording 5-10 minutes long addressing your questions 🤩 

Please remember that I am bringing 10+ years of psychology training & experience, however, I am not acting as your psychologist or therapist. This means that while I'm happy to answer, comment, and offer education on mindfulness, meditation, and values-based living, I will not be offering any professional mental health advice, recommendations, treatment, diagnoses, or anything that only your mental health and medical providers can give you. 

This is for you if:

  • You want to learn different mindfulness practices
  • You just want to be more present in your daily life so you don't miss out on it!
  • You've tried to meditate before and either didn't "get it," didn't like it, felt like you couldn't do it or it wasn't for you
  • You enjoy meditation but struggle to practice regularly
  • You want expert guidance to know if you're doing it "right" and how to recognize if it's "working"
  • You want an easy way to teach others about mindfulness

It's okay if you can't "clear your mind," sit still, get distracted, fidget, feel anxious/stressed/or panicky, have racing thoughts, your mind goes "blank," etc. - That's actually the point! You'll learn how to manage tolerating being in any moment you're in, whether it's comfortable or unpleasant.

This is not for you if:

  • Honestly, I can't think of anyone who wouldn't benefit from these skills the way I teach them. You can take what works for you, and leave the rest. You will not experience anything you don't already feel to some extent on a daily basis. I simply show you how to focus and enhance these experiences in a way that will work for you in your life. If you do have serious concerns about engaging in mindfulness, self-reflection, and/or meditation practices, consult with a medical or mental health provider first or try the exercises with them or with a trusted individual together. 
  • Since this is a fully pre-recorded course, you can go at a pace that is comfortable for you and take breaks when needed. You control the speed and pace! You can always watch the videos first without participating in the exercises just to know what to expect or learn about the different concepts. Then try it out if or when it suits you!
  • Yes, you may experience some uncomfortable sensations in your body and noticing different thoughts and emotions that you may or may not be used to. This is normal. It's part of being human. The more you practice, the easier it will be to simply allow these experiences to exist. You can build your tolerance in short bursts.
  • Take one deep breath right now. Inhale through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth....
